I created the cover illustration for “Here, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium Animal Health Management Room. Aiming for the World’s Best Treatment as a Team,” which will be published by Kodansha on June 19, 2024.

This book introduces seven projects undertaken by the staff of the health management room and the keepers together. These include the new artificial tail fin project for dolphins, the process of returning rescued sea turtles to the ocean, uncovering the mysteries of the great white shark, and the artificial nursing of a baby manatee. It is a heartwarming book that tells stories of human-animal interactions while providing scientific knowledge.
