I created illustrations for “Onomatope Moji Asobi,” a wooden toy produced by Kawai Musical Instruments Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which was released on October 27, 2020.

“Onomatope Moji Asobi” focuses on onomatopoeia, which is gaining attention in early childhood education as a word that allows children to sensually understand and express sounds, movements, and appearances. With the enjoyable rhythm of onomatopoeia, children naturally learn the characteristics of words and objects. The materials used in this product are domestically sourced wood, and artisans in Japan finish the product.
